STUDS

Julius Jones
Positional Rank: 10

Jones gets the awful Lions defense, start him.

Jamaal Charles
Positional Rank: 9

Fantasy owners finally get their wish to see Charles get his shot with the starting gig. He’s averaged 5.0 yards per touch this year and gets a juicy match up heading to Jacksonville.

Nate Burleson
Positional Rank: 16

Can’t get enough of taking advantage of Detroit. Burleson seems to have taken the number one receiver job away from Housh and looks to keep running with it this week

Michael Crabtree
Positional Rank: 18

Crabtree surprised everyone with a very productive first two games and now he gets the porous Titans defense who are traveling across the continent. This should be the week that Crab tree gets his first career TD.

Dwayne Bowe
Positional Rank: 7

He has four TDs on the year, he’ll make that five this week.

Alex Smith
Positional Rank: 10

Smith draws the NFL’s worst secondary this week. He looks like he’s ready to take the next step and this week provides the perfect opportunity.

Matt Hasselbeck
Positional Rank: 4

Everyone lights up the Lions.

Vernon Davis
Positional Rank: 2

Davis keeps with the trend of playing 49ers this week, the second highest scoring tight end should continue his great roll.

Green Bay D/ST

The Packers draw an awful team with a rookie QB making his first start. Green Bay should have their way with them.

DUDS

LaDainian Tomlinson
Positional Rank: 27

Unfortunately, the Chargers don’t play the Raiders every week. LT looks like he’s done and this week will show it.

Joesph Addai
Positional Rank: 23

Houston’s run defense is a tale of two quarter season stretches. Over the first four games, the Texans had the worst run defense going, it’s been the best over the last four games. The Colts have enough problems running the ball as it is and nothing should change this week.

Steve Smith
Positional Rank: 35

Why? Because Steve Smith is terrible. Last week was an aberration and things don’t get too much better for him with Matt Moore at the helm.

Brandon Marshall
Positional Rank: 24

This one may burn me but the Steelers’ secondary is very formidable and should shut down Marshall

Ben Roethlisberger
Positional Rank: 18

The Berg draws a Broncos defense that has ceded only 3 TD passes all season long. Don’t look for a huge game here.

Kyle Orton
Positional Rank: 20

Orton looked bad against the Ravens last week and things don’t get much better for him this week. If the Steelers get up early, Orton will be bewildered trying to throw the ball downfield.

Heath Miller
Positional Rank: 14

Denver does an excellent job of taking away the tight end and Miller will only be a tertiary option in the passing game this week.
